3ware の RAID BIOS で RAID1 してたとき、片方を抜いてしばらく片肺運転してから戻すと DEGRATED な Array と incomplete drive になってて自動 rebuild はしてくれない。
BIOS 画面で Array と incomplete drive を選んで Rebuild しようにもしてくれない。
なにやらドライブに RAID 情報が書き込まれてたら incomplete drive 扱いにしてしまってるらしい。
で、どうするか。
まず incomplete drive を選んで delete array 。
これをすると incomplete drive が available になるので、degrated array と available drive を選んで rebuild してやる。

An 'incomplete drive' refers to a drive that has 3ware array information on it, but it cannot find the other members of the array. You should not see this on a newly added disk drive. If you select the incomplete drive in the 3ware BIOS, then select 'Delete Array', then that drive will be available for use to rebuild your degraded RAID 1 array.
